The digital world and atypical work: Perceptions and difficulties of teleworking in Hungary and Romania

IT solutions have been transforming the world of work, albeit with varying intensity, for decades. They affect, among other things, organisation work structures, employment patterns and working time. Solutions such as artificial intelligence (AI), business (BI), robotic process automation (RPA), workflow, mining, etc. are now a daily reality in corporate sector, be it physical or mental work. However, spread digital across organisations, spaces sectors is uneven. Can impact this uneven observed employment, especially atypical forms employment? In our questionnaire research, we seek to establish how employees tertiary education two pairs (Hungarian Romanian non-profit Hungarian for-profit sectors) countries perceive some demographic characteristics teleworking. analysed responses working-age citizens who had telework at least one year time completing questionnaire. addition deterioration relationships lack personal contacts already shown by many studies, that work-life balance upset single people those without children, while number children does not influence opinions on The differences presented study typically gender-specific but largely based globalised perspectives.
